Edward is responsible for new innovations in Automail technology, lighter alloys, new forging techniques, and holds many patents for standardized neuro-interfaces which he makes free to use. Edward is a human, wild red hair and of normal height; his wife Vanya is of elven blood, a bit shorter and has long blond hair.
