A Scriber is a flat piece of stone that has been magically “programmed” to perform basic tasks, most are used as clip boards, books, journals, and other forms of media. Tele-Scribers are Magi-Tech devices that have become the equivalent of a cell phone. Requires a physical Sync with any Scriber you wish to link with.

Looms

Looms allow those without a natural talent to manipulate the weave to program and interface with Magi-Tech systems. Looms are used by both security professionals and hackers alike, and lets both write programs.

Details: The Hogo-Sha (Guardian) series of Looms made by Monban Magi-Tech is used mostly by small security firms, hobbyists, industrial professionals, and hackers. A combination Slate Display, proprietary Monban Weave Engine, and mobile Magi-Tech field amplifier is effectively a tool set to modify the magical side of Magi-Tech, and program the technical side. They’re roughly a foot and a half long by a half foot, about three inches thick. The Slate interface sits on top and allows under interaction with the device, while the detachable Magi-Tech field amplifier allows the device to interface with Magi-Tech in a closed system, routing all communications traffic through the Loom.
