Auto-carriage (Passengers)

Cost: 5 silver per mile.
Details: Auto Carriage seats 3, two in back one up front next to the driver, and stores 100 pounds of equipment in the trunk. The standard Auto-carriage driver stores extra fuel, food, and a repair kit in their trunk, this takes up 25 pounds of equipment load. Travels up to 198 miles a day, as a speed of 24 miles per hour, depending on road condition.
Lore: Often used for inner city travel, or for those who would prefer to enjoy the countryside. The Auto-carriage has become a preferred method of travel for the Aristocratic and Wealthy who don’t have the option to travel by train or those who simply don’t want to deal with the packed trains.

Auto-carriage (Cargo)

Cost: 2 silver per mile, plus one silver for every 200 pounds of cargo (rounded up).
Details: The standard Auto-carriage cargo truck seats one driver and one passenger, but stores up to 2000 pounds of equipment in the open truck bed. The standard Auto-carriage driver stores extra fuel, food, and a repair kit in their truck bed as well, this takes up 50 pounds of equipment load. Travels up to 132 miles a day, as a speed of 16 miles per hour, depending on road condition.
Lore: Usually used to move goods between towns for those without a rail line, they’re also used to move bulk goods with in a town. A large number of trucks are used to move goods to and from train stations, keeping costs low but ensuring goods arrive quickly and safely compared to the wooden carts of old.

Train Fair (Seat)

Cost: 4 silver per stop.
Details: Silver is paid to board the train and collected at each station if the passenger is staying on. The silver pays for a seat and an area to store up to 200 pounds of cargo.
Lore: The ease and reduction in cost for long distance transportation in Orion caused a tourism revolution. Suddenly even peasants and farmers could save up enough money to visit another town on almost a monthly basis.

Train Fair (Cabin)

Cost: 6 gold per stop.
Details: A cabin on a train provides seating for four, storage for 1000 pounds of cargo, and sleeps two comfortably.
Lore: Comfort and privacy are two key distinctions between the lower class and nobility, and a private room on the train provides that. Often used by wealthy merchants or traveling nobles, the private section on trains bring in the real money that keeps the train networks expanding through out the world.

Train Extra Cargo Storage

Cost: 5 silver per stop.
Details: Transports 200 pounds of goods in a cargo car.
Lore: Merchants no longer need to fear losing supplies in the wilderness, loaded into crates and placed in the cargo sections of trains, goods can move around a country faster than every before, usually arriving with in days instead of weeks. This means fresh fish could be packed with ice and shipped inland, regional foods can reach far away cities and sometimes even other nations where before they’d spoil on the trip. And adventurers lugging pounds of treasure or supplies no longer need to worry about transportation logistics when a train can move them between cities without worry.

Airship Flight (Quick’s Air service)

Cost: By Flight Path
Details: Quick’s planes carry 6 passengers, up to 400 pounds of cargo between passengers. Service isn’t always available at the locations below, however a sending stone is left at each location to contact the main airstrip in Chakai and charter a flight.
Flight Paths:
Castle Orion to Blackmarsh: 2 days of travel, 60 gold a seat.
Castle Orion to 13 Kingdoms Landing Strip: 2 days of travel, 68 gold a seat.
Castle Orion to Kana Landing Strip: 5 days of travel, 140 gold a seat.
Castle Orion to Chakai: 5 days of travel, 155 gold a seat.
Blackmarsh to Kana Landing Strip: 4 days of travel, 110 gold a seat.
Blackmarsh to 13 Kingdoms Landing Strip: 4 days of travel, 100 gold a seat.
Blackmarsh to Chakai: 3 days of travel, 86 gold a seat.
Chakai to Kana Landing Strip: 1 day of travel, 34 gold a seat.
Chakai to 13 Kingdoms Landing Strip: 6 days of travel, 170 gold a seat.

Communication

Griffon Post

Cost: 6 gold
Details: The griffon riders of the postal service are able to track and deliver messages to individuals with in five days if the distance is great or if the individual is hard to find. If the individual the message is destined for is hiding or on another plane of existence, the messenger will continue looking for up to two weeks before returning the message to the sender.

Wire Communication

Cost: 1 copper per word, rounded up to the nearest silver. Priority message: 1 extra gold.
Details: Wire communication works around Orion, and anywhere else a wire network has been setup. Messages are repeated from town to town until they arrive at their intended destination, where it’s written out and then are delivered by Messenger.
Effect: Message reaches destination with in one hour to one day. Priority messages always arrive with in 4 hours.

Lifestyle Expenses

Spa and Bath

Public Bath

Cost: 1 silver.
Details: Every town in Orion and most larger cities in other countries have large public bath houses. A central boiler heats and purifies water before directing it to a central pool and also private baths.
Effects: Spending an hour in the bath will provide you advantage on Constitution Saves against disease for 16 hours or your next long rest.

Private Bath

Cost: 4 gold per hour.
Details: Private rooms in the bathhouse have baths sized for eight people, the rooms come with four panel screens to allow patrons to change in private. Towels provided. Hot water flows from the central boiler into the bath and overflow water is directed into the nearest river or sewer system. Private baths are drained and scrubbed clean between clients, so they aren’t always available.
Effects: Spending an hour in the bath will provide you advantage on Constitution Saves against disease for 16 hours or your next long rest. In addition, spending two hours in a private bath, while meeting regular rest and dietary requirements, removes one level of exhaustion; this can be done once per long rest.

Professional Massage

Cost: 30 gold per half hour.
Details: A professionally trained masseuse works out muscle tension and helps you relax.
Effects: After a half hour massage, while meeting regular rest and dietary requirements, removes one level of exhaustion; this can be done once per long rest.
